I hate people that do that. I don't have one, and I'd be l;ooknig for someone and it'd say "No results found. More profiles may be visible if you register" and apparently 1% of profiles are available for non-members....

I love Facebook. Great way to keep in touch with my friends who already graduated and a great time waster (Bumper Sticker app OMFG). Also, the Events app is great for planning stuff...I got invited to a couple graduation parties via Facebook.
I hate myspace so I avoid it, but I made a facebook to talk to my sister and then people started to find me on it and I like keeping in touch with the people I know and grew up with or live with at college. It's easier leave a quick note to someone if its not really important enough to call or text. But I'm not one of those people with like 350+ friends who just add people to feel important, people I add I actually have contact with on a pretty regular basis.
But I haven't been using it too much recently, because it's the summer, and everyone tends to stay of contact during this time period. So, there's really not too much point in logging in and scanning pointless status updates.
