Facebook groups that piss you off?

With the new Facebook setup, it has become commonplace to see your friends join groups that are mundane, stupid, and anger-inducing. Which ones do you see that make you want to punch your computer?

That one made me slightly angry.

One of the reasons I dont have a facebook account.. and the other reason is I have no friends.. lol

I find that people who do nothing but become fans of things and join pointless groups are far more annoying.

Ones that aren't clever, like "Slushees," "The sound and smell of rain," "Ice cream," "Sleeping in," blah blah etc.

There's one about seeing if a pickle can get more fans than Nickelback or something. Right, you reeeeeally taught that Nickelback a lesson!

The ones that are like "NEW FACEBOOK PREMIUM" "all you must do is select all of your friends and invite them all to the group and you will become a premium member" or the "Activate your account or get deleted" Where you must prove you still use fb by inviting all your friends to the group orself your fb will be deleted..

I hate stupid people who join/believe in those groups worse than the chain letter bulletins that happened on myspace.

Thelegitimate and meaningful facebook groups and fan pages are being overwhelmed by meaningless and idiotic groups and fan pages. But what can you do? :?

Well the group doesnt piss me off but my hilarious cousin-in-law said this about a support gay-marriage group.

Ones that are often racist and usually they have no clue what's going on around them

i haven't checed but there must be a group named "i love my parents",i hate that group.although i do love my parents, i hate groups like that,hard to be more accurate about it.

I don't much mind the groups, but the fan pages are pathetic. I don't see the appeal in becoming a fan of 300 mundane activities that everyone does. It doesn't make you special.

this thread made me go look at the groups i was a part of on fb, some of them i don't remember joining, but there was one called "why so serious? screwing with the AP test graders part 2" where on the high school AP tests, on the essay section, throughout your essay, you write WHY SO SERIOUS, then put a dash through it. since there is a dash through it, it is considered not part of your essay, so they can't grade that part. i guess the group was made back around the time when the dark knight came out, i actually think it was kind of a funny idea :P

i usually don't become a member of groups though. or a fan of things. i think the being a fan thing is kind of lame.

"Get the OLD faceboook back, all you have to do is have 30 of your friends join after that you click this link and it goes back to the old facebook look". When that whole thing is complete BS, people continue to do it.

I hate every page that just describes something that people do... It's as if people don't know what pages are for anymore.

I also facepalm every time someone joins a group that apparently is giving something out for free, but you have to invite everyone you know first. First, there's no way to track whether or not you invited everyone, second, there's probably gonna be no prize anyway.

The ones that promise a "dislike" button after inviting all your friends and joining the group. Honestly, are you that stupid? :?Maniacc1

The dislike button ones, the fake promotions, and one that really pisses me off...o.b.a.m.a.(one big *** mistake, america). He's been in presidency for one year and people are already saying that? And from the friends I know joining it, it's all people who have no clue about politics..

anything that has to with something free and requires you to add all your friends to get free object.

The ones which include CoD, Good or Bad.
