Facebook or OT?

OT by a mile. Facebook's lamer than lame. "Friends" (I use the term loosely when it comes to Facebook) post the same bloaty crap every day. There's little variety. And honestly, I could care less about what's going wrong with a person who I last saw in elementary school. Nor do I care about the crappy song lyrics you post every day. At least Twitter cuts a lot of that crap... lol

Here, I find interesting variety of people, topics, posts, etc. The users are also much more intellectual. I find debates that are actually worth reading (for the most part) in OT, where as Facebook is full of brick-headed one-sided arguments that usually end with unnecessarily derogatory words. All in all, deactivating my Facebook was one of the best decisions of the year.

Definitely OT. Facebook is dumb even though I have an account I haven't checked in months.

I am a Realtor so I have to go with facebook, easy way to market myself to people I can actually do business with.

I use Facebook and OT quite often.

Facebook for real life friends and people i know, and OT for talking to strangers.

OT. Facebook is stupid. If I want to communicate with people I know in real-life, I'll do it in person.

I've gotten rid of my Facebook account.

They always post the same crap, same arguments, same kind of humour, same events going on, same jokes...OT just has much cooler people.

At least I can actually have interesting conversations with people here...of course, that's speaking from personal experience.

This isn't really a fair question.

I talk to people I know on Facebook. They're friends I know in real life. They're on my Facebook because I willingly added them.

On Gamespot I talk to...whoever signed up. That's not necessarily a bad thing, I've met plenty of cool people here, but a bunch of random people can't compare to friends I've known for years.

Hell, if your Facebook is really that lame, you need better friends. You're the one who added them, it's your own fault.

I like the OT better. I hardly post anything on my wall on Facebook.
