Facebook Timeline 8 friend's pictures meaning?

So yea guys you know the 8 friends' pictures that are on your right side on your timeline? I've had the same 8 friends on the side for the past week. Is there a meaning to this? like, are they the people that view my profile the most or something like that?

I think it's your most frequent friends. Timeline sucks anyways.
