2 years ago I would have said they both suck, but after being peer preasured into getting a facebook, I have to say its not so bad. I feel safe there because I control who sees what and who my friends are. Plus its the easiet way to orginize get togethers
They're the same damn thing: hideouts for pedos and pissed off mothers of scorned teenagers trying to get back at their bullies by calling them fat over the Internet.
I used myspace when it first came out and it was fun simple and easy to use without getting 9000 spams a day of some crappy band advertising themselves or some whore selling her webcam website, and didn't have to sift through 20 advertisments to get from one page to another or the inane amount of work to upkeep my profile and update it.
I also used and currently but seldomly use Facebook back in 2004 when it was a college networking website, but now it seems to have gone the way of myspace and now get bombarded with lame spam mails and advertisements for stupid "bro" merchandaise and the applications are annoying as hell and the layout has gotten more complex and redundant sifting through the mod that displays on your page the hey somebody changed there profile pic or posted a note on someone elses wall..
So I hate both but begrudgingly use Facebook only for the most simple social needs mainly on mlitary deployments.
I use both just to communicate with friends. But I would say in the end.....It's Facebook that takes the cake....or should I say Pie....Yes Pie works better. Well either way Facebook wins....I'm gonna go eat some pie.
I'm a professional, working adult so I use Facebook. All my graduated friends are on it... all my co-workers are on it ... most of our clients are on it (some of them don't know how to work a computer so they are forgiven) ... pretty much all of the people I WANT to deal with are on it.
Although i don't use any of them anymore, FB is really borring and lame. Its only for people you actually know, while Myspace you can customize and add who ever you want, which imo was the whole point of those websites.
