Neither, American Dad was never funny and the writing on Family Guy has gone downhill post-cancellation.

I prefer American Dad. Family Guy is just too random and most of it doesn't make sense.

American Dad is getting funnier, while Family Guy is getting less funny. But overall Id still go with Family Guy
