Why are they not including the Black Panther in the Fantastic Four movies? Does he come along later in the series?

Well he's very close timeline wise if you match up the movie and the comics. The big Galactus/Silver Surfer story took place in FF #48-50 and the Black Panther was introduced in FF #53 but they don't really care about that stuff when it comes to making movies. Look what they did to Dr. Doom for God's sake.

What did they do wrong with Dr Doom? I like the movies but never read the comics. Seeing how Silver Surfer ended I'm guessing they'll need a new villian.. and with the way Doom left the screen He might appear like he did in the last film

To make a long story short and to prevent this turning into rant material in the comic Doom is an ominous, brooding ruler/dictator of a mythical eastern european country. He has a past in the dark arts and as much beloved as he is feared. All of Doom's strength comes from his inherent genius (with the exception of the dark arts that come into play every so often) and he attacks his enemies with well thought out traps as well as his powered armor.

In the movie he is a whiny, simpering CEO who attains power to his exposure to the same cosmic rays that created the Fantastic Four.

All comics do that, or at least bastardize the creation of most villains. I hate it.
