I hold both Boll AND the developers at fault. If they're too dumb to have not known about his reputation, they deserved to have their property butchered.

Seriously. And i think Uwe Boll should realize that every gamer despises him and the whole movie industry pretty much thinks he is a joke. The only way he can gain any sort of credibility, is if he can admit that he sux. Why doesnt he try to make sumthing that is different!? No matter what game based movie it is, expect cheesy lines, explosions and lots of martial arts. "Super Mario Galaxy the Movie!"---Martial Arts. "Gears of War the Movie"---Martial Arts. "Frogger the Movie"---Martial Arts!! So repetetive. i think the first step for him becoming a better director is to stop making game-based movies. Or he could go one step furthur and gain total redemption by quitting the movie business.

Makes you wonder how easy is it to become a director.... And on another note, couldnt he alteast try to get half decent actors? Til Schwegier (or watever his name is)!? He looks like a retard and his acting just confirms it. And go have Mercy on me when i watch a movie with Udo Kier.....Why didnt he just get some Porn Actors? they'd probably do a better job.

Ubisoft owns far cry, not crytek. If it was up to them the movie probably wouldnt've been made

He does realize he sucks...he just doesn't care. He's the type of filmmaker who only sees dollar signs, that's it.

man...thats the worst type of person. I think he does this just to annoy gamers. Well, he is a lost case, so now im going to blame the Dev teams who allow this to happen. Atleast Capcom didnt go with him. And while Resident Evil movies are far from being "Great" or "Good" they are entertaining in their own way and kind of decent. Even movies that were a little sketchy like "Silent Hill" get the nod from me because they tried to break from the stupid video game movie mold of action and explosions. To the Video game illetrate, Silent Hill would fit in perfectly with the likes of the Ring.

Well, as long as this guy doesnt touch the God of War movie (as David jaffe said he wouldnt) im all good.
