I thought it was really dumb how they did that, the ending was great, a " happily ever after" of sorts. Then after the credits, *BOOM* huge plot holes, just so they can have some milkage. it should have ended with the Fast Five, they ended it perfectly to do just that.

I'm beginning to think that the franchise is forgetting about the events displayed in Tokyo Drift. I didn't see the extra moments after the credits (I wish I'd stayed that few minutes longer, to be honest), but I find it rather confusing how they intend to tie it all together. Fast Five ended perfectly for the franchise to die, but in a strange way I want it to run on. It doesn't need to retain the same characters: due to the nature of the plots (women, cars, street racing, action, and so on), other characters could easily be used to replace the existing characters in the franchise and let it run on. At the current point I'm doubting that Tokyo Drift will be taken as canon anymore. Some of the events in the fourth film seem to have been disregarded as well with the post-credit footage, but then again I don't really watch the franchise for the best possible stories.
Well was surprised to see how well this movie was reviewed, saw one with almost 5 stars. Theyre going to have a harder time with each flick as their cast keeps growing.
Well they still have some stuff to cover like Han's eventual destination in Tokyo and why he isnt with Gisele anymore and other stuff leading to Tokyo Drift which is supposed to be the end chronologically
