I've been getting into Nevermore lately (thanks to you). :P Godless is great.
Opeth, Agalloch, and Anaal Nathrakh are my three favorites. There's a lot of great newer and lesser known bands too (Fleshgod Apocalypse!) which may end up being some of my favorites given time.

We will never know, sadly. But for sake of comparison, I think their few albums are superior to The Cure's first couple of albums.[QUOTE="Neon-Tiger"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]

Eh... One of these. :P
- Attack Attack!
- blink 182
- A Day to Remember
- August Burns Red
- Deftones (new addition)
AC/DC's singer SUCKS.AC/DC sucks. :P I mean, I just don't enjoy them that much. I'll admit, they must have something going for them if they got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but I just don't enjoy it. Considering I like opera singers, the vocalist is a massive turnoff. Yesterday I got into an argument with a friend. I tried to get him to listen to "The Mikado." He thinks that AC/DC will outlast Gilbert & Sullivan. Pretty bold, considering G&S have a head-start of more than a hundred years.[QUOTE="PannicAtack"][QUOTE="Darth-Caedus"]Seriously? Ugh...both of them give me a massive headache...:P

But compare "A Wandering Minstrel I" - In this song, a character is describing his profession as a wandering minstrel (hence the title), and he gives examples of the songs he sings: A sentimental song about being lovesick, a patriotic march, and a "song of the sea." That's variety. Three parts, plus the bookend melody, in one song.[QUOTE="PannicAtack"][QUOTE="Pirate700"]AC/DC sucks. :P
