As of yesterday, this easily takes the cake. Even better than I expected. :D

His older stuff is waaaayyy better for sure, but this wasn't bad. And like I said before, I haven't listened to much this year so I sort of had to go with that one because no other album got as many spins from me.
I'm still waiting for my copy of Obsidian Conspiracy to come in, but Kalmah's 12 Gauge, Eluveitie's Everything Remains as it Never Was, and Immolation's Majesty and Decay are up there too.
this just shot straight up to number 1 on my list. without question the best hip hop album of the year so far...

It's pretty good. The In Flames song on there is pretty cool.

Second best band of all time. :D Your Demo 2003 is messed though, there's only supposed to be 3 tracks (Wigrid, Nach dem Winter, Outro)

You sure about that? Cause I'm 100% sure it's got 8 tracks man. They did a re-release and they put some of Fratyr's songs on there. When they recorded it back in '03 they had 3 songs. I only have the 3 on my iTunes because then I don't have to listen to them over again when I'm listening to their discography. :P
Oh crap, you are right. :P I guess those songs were on there but they recorded them again. I didn't know that. :?

Their only song I skip over is Verrat, but it still isn't really that bad either. Rene is an amazing producer, they could change their entire lineup over and over again and he would still make amazing music.
And I think the reason why my demo only has 3 is because way back in the day I used to put all my music into one big folder and when you have two tracks labeled "Equilibrium - Met" one of them is going to mysteriously go somewhere. :P
Yup, Turis Fratyr is basically an extended Demo 2003...It's probably smart only having those three songs though because if you listen to their entire discography at once, it would get redundant but it doesn't matter to me, because 99% of their songs are awesome.[QUOTE="Bluestorm-Kalas"]

This probably contradicts like all other equilibrium fans, but the one song I don't like is Mana. Waaaaaay to long/boring for my tastes. This one is my favorite. Its one of those type of albums where I didn't really like at first but the more I listened to it the better it got.

Mana is a song where you can't really just sit and listen to it. You kinda have to be occupied when you do, to really not be bored... and to make it sound awesome, if that makes sense. :P

Told ya it contradicts pretty much all Equilibrium fans. :P I'd say I would give it a couple more listens...but that's like an entire hour of my life haha. :P I'll listen to the 14 min instrumental on Rekreatur, but if I don't like it, there will be two songs I skip. :P
