Favorite animal for a pet.

Well OT, if you where to get a pet what would it be?

If we're being realistic a cat, if we're being unrealistic a dolphin.

Rabbits! they're great little lawn mowers, soft and affectionate and they're delicious ;)

I will answer both of your questions. The question you asked in the title and the one you asked in your post.

My favorite animal for a pet is snakes. When I get back into them, the Amazon Tree Boa will be the first one I get.

As for what pet I am getting next. I am getting a Doberman Pinscher.

Cats.

Cute as hell. Dogs are as cute but cats do it for me.

Plus my cat is amazingly low maitenence. Just have to feed it twice a day. Doesnt even use the litter tray. Plus cwtching up with it is relaxing.

I'd love a chimp as a pet though

Dog. Currently have two cats ( not mine ) that are 14 years old. I have been waiting them out for 8 years now. Not sure how old cats get but i hope i don't have much longer.

Cats overall as they fit my lifestyle these days although I love and have owned dogs, snakes, pigeons, rodents, and fish and if I had a decent-sized house I'd probably own all of those again.

Cats are such a waste in my opinion once they grow up. The playfulness goes away and they sleep all day and then act like they own the place. They're antisocial much of the time and moody as heck. I guess they don't mess anything up but I'd rather have a loyal, playful dooh-og. Or is it dah-oog or doog?

Turtle was my favorite. They're quiet, don't really smell, and like to explore. Dogs are second, a dog greeting you at the door is a pretty nice feeling.

Why do most people prefering dogs?! They smell, they **** every where and there hair is every where ! But some are cute though

we have 3 red tail boa's and a tegu lizard. the boa's we have had for 10 yrs now, and the tegu for 8 yrs - great for pets.

From your list I chose cat. Always had cats and my boy King Leonidas is currently curled up in my lap, so I had to vote cat. =P

I like dogs a lot but never owned one, hopefully one day I will.

Not on the list- axolotls. They are amazing little things. I have quite a few already but on Saturday became the owner of two more as the babies started hatching, vuhuu!

I would love to own a bearded dragon or a gargoyle gecko. I'm also jealous of the guy above who has a tegu. =P

The only good animal is a dead animal.

Since I already own cats and dogs I don't mind either one. If I were to get another pet I'd have to pick Horses:), though if I were to get Horses I'd have to move to an area that more land or something then my current location which is what I want to do someday anyway.

I like cats! I, however, hate to take care of pets... so I have none. Not had a cat since I was really young, he scratched me in the face, what a cute devil!
