Favorite band / Least favorite band. Why?

currently my favorite band is probably DevilDriver. I love good Heavy metal and they're pretty hard to beat for that.

Band I hate Most? That's an easy one, Coldplay.

I have never seen nor heard such an overrated group of morons in my life. They sound like gay Radiohead, And I LIKE Radiohead.

I keep praying for that news story that tells me a monkey with the ebola virus killed them all.

At least it gives me something to hope for.

Rush is my favourite band.

• I admire their musicianship
• I also love how they can create such a rich live experience despite being only a three-piece band
• Geddy Lee!
• I'm a big fan of prog rock in general

As for bands I don't like, I honestly don't even bother thinking about them, let alone listing them here. There are too many anyway! :P

As a punk fan since I was a child in the late 80's pop-punk makes me want to puke.

Far, far, far, better emo than pop-punk.

Hard to decide my favourite band. Generally it boils down to Katatonia and Riverside. Both equally awesome. I really like Katatonia's new album though. It's amazing (kind of seems like it's got a bit of progressive metal in it this time as well as the doom metal).

least: people who like music other than me is fine, but I personally can't stand any country. Only genre I can't even find one artist mildly enjoyable in.

Favorite: R.E.M. - I could write a book on why I like them so much, but I will limit myself to saying that they are a successful band that has managed to constantly change their music throughout a three-decade career without repeating themselves. Each album is different from the previous one, and all of their works - with one exception - are above average.

Least Favorite: I don't think I have one, but right now I will go with Jonas Brothers because my sister is listening to them and I can hear it. :cry:
