Probably at least 90% of people that respond to the poll will choose "other".
Anyway my favorite beer...there's too many to choose from. I gotta go with St. Bernardus abt. 12. Other notable beers come from Westmalle, Delirium tremens, Celebrator doppelbock, the list goes on.
Lite beer = bad beer. I'm all about Fat Tire, Sierra Nevada, and best of all - Pyramid.Lord__Darkstorn:lol: I just read your reply a split second after I posted mine! I think I had Sierra Nevada once.
Omg... you put Coors Light on the poll? :| You don't drink beer.... do you... Anyway, Fat Tire for me.JustPlainLucasWell to be fair, you can't really make a poll with good beers, because you can only pick 5-- out of thousands. The only way to make a decent poll here it to make it out of American Macro-Lagers and Guinness because Guinness is probably the most common stout found in North America.
Beer is so popular here in England, even teens drink it on the streets (chavs). I'm not a fan of beer although if I'm tipsy I will drink Budweiser or Carling.
I'm more of a whiskey drinker, but not too much.
When clubbing I drink this strawberry Jaques stuff.
Favorite Beer: Local, on-tap only beer called Chimney Stout
Favorite Retail: Hoeggarden, Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Fuller's Organic Honey Dew
Favorite "Need to drink a lot, get drunk" Beer: Keith's Light Ale, Dry Ice.
a toss up between the Dogfish head 90 minute IPA, Stone Runination IPA, or Unibroue's Maudite depending on my mood Quanta007
Stone and Unibroue are great. Russian River makes good beers too. Need to try Pliney the Younger, but I lost my ID, should be in the mail soon
Lighthouse Race Rocks is probably my favourite at the moment. It's like Rickard's Red, only better.
They also have a nice stout. And Philips' Amnesiac is one of the best IPAs I've ever had - it's got so many hops the first sip always takes you off guard, but once you're past that you'll never discover all the flavours before your glass is empty.
As for more common beers that I like - Big Rock's Grasshopper is a nice alternative to many of the mainstream beers, and it's available almost everywhere. It's also the only wheat beer I can drink without having the urge to vomit.
Granville Island's Maple Cream Ale, Spinnaker's Nut Brown Ale, and Okanagan Spring's Porter are also fantastic. Unforunately, Okanagan Springs only sees wide distribution with their Pale Ale, which I don't think is as strong as the other beers they brew.
I also like making my own beer - so far my stout has turned out the best, although I have an IPA that's due to be bottled in a few days.
If anyone answers "Fosters", I will beat them with a can of Fosters until they scream.DrSpongeI've never had Fosters. :o
[QUOTE="dirtydishko2"]On a side note one of my friend's just got a tattoo of a heart with a banner over it that says "BEER". The heart is glass and filled with beer.DrSpongeWell, that's not trashy :| You think that's trashy? He got it at the last minute for free, after getting his other tattoo of a shark surfing in his underwear with a boner.
