And then theres Evian, Sparkletts... no one in the US regulates them, what?

I didn't realize different bottled waters tasted differently.JustPlainLucasThey do. I always liked Aquafina, but think Arrowhead is bad. When I'm at home though, I just drink from the tap.
I didn't realize different bottled waters tasted differently.JustPlainLucasThis. They all taste the same to me.

I mean no one regulates ANY bottled water in the US. Not just Evian or Sparklettes. Its safe, you know, but, not pristine as it may seem.

You know what IS moderated and monitored by the states? Tap water. I'll stick with that. Bonus! It's freeeeeeeee
Yeah but it still passes through pipes that are very, very old and out dated for a developed country. Yet again, if I get my water from Fiji I can't argue that their pipes aren't encrusted with hardwater and chemical deposits. But I know one thing about and I know because it says on the back of the bottle, the most reliable place of course: "Fiji Water fell as rain over hundreds of years...[paraphrasing] and then filtered through volcanic rock." Therefore, I BELIEVE it tastes better than tap water. And it actually does, since in California, we have some of the worst tap water. I do think Fiji tastes the best though call me stupid.[QUOTE="starfox15"][QUOTE="lo_Pine"]

I will say that there is such thing as "acid rain" and I'm not too sure of a volcanic rocks ability to filter...
[QUOTE="Suzy_Q_Kazoo"]YOU KNOW you could just buy your own water bottle without supporting the bottled water oligarchy I KNOW but I can see myself always forgetting this water bottle, which is why I am constantly buying new ones. I have about three water bottles on my desk right now.Aquafina, then I just refill with tap.

I'm not going to call you stupid because this is opinion and you're totally entitled to it. I will say that there is such thing as "acid rain" and I'm not too sure of a volcanic rocks ability to filter... But acid rain is only a product of the Industrial Revolution and according to what I said the back of the bottle states it says that the water fell as rain over HUNDREDS of years. The Industrial Revolution began at around 1750 and the time at which machines and factories were truely polluting the atmosphere in mass scales was in the late 19th century. So any water from rain that you would consider to be acid rain is much less than that compared to what fell hundreds of years before it... Also you say that rock can't filter acid rain, so that means you must know more about chemistry than whoever wrote what is on the back of a Fiji bottle. Why doesn't volcanic rock filter acid from water?[QUOTE="lo_Pine"][QUOTE="starfox15"]

I don't know if I do...? Don't you not?The tap. But if I had to, though, it would be Imsdal.
Voss is overpriced tap water in a fancy bottle. This little piece of information was brought to you from a Norwegian. You're welcome. :P
lol im surprised people are actually buying fiji. Water should never cost that much. They say its like volcano filtered water or whatever but they probably just get it out a spring or whatever just like everybody else. It taste like well water nothing more nothing less.
I usually just drink tap water even though the taste is annoying some times. Dasani for my mobile water needs.
