I'm a big James Bond fan, I wondered if anyone else was. What's you're favorite James Bond book or movie?

My favorite movie was Goldeneye, I just thought it was really awesome, despite all the negative reviews.

My favorite book was probably Dr. No, or maybe OHMSS.

I never got into the books, but I've seen all the movies. My favorites are Goldeneye and the Man With the Golden Gun.

Oh, yeah, Golden Gun was awesome. That Christopher Lee can really act. The book is boring as all hell, though.

While Golden Eye was sweet, and I know I might get flamed for this, but I really like Casino Royale, it was easily my favorite. I am quite sure I have seen all of them. (I have them all on VHS from back in the day :P )

Doesn't surprise me much. There were parts in that movie were the pacing became slow which probably won't translate well in a book.

I almost forgot Christopher Lee played Scaramanga, he is good. Don't forget Nick Nack, the midget.

How can you forget? He's a classic. And tman93: I didn't really like Casino Royale, but Eva Green was undoubtedly the hottest Bond girl ever.

Yep. Quantum was pretty much awful. And Goldeneye had OK dialogue, but it's main appeal was the action. Let's remember, after they stopped basing them on the books, the writing changed a lot.

Yeah Pierce Bonds are known for their action, youre right for the most part that the dialogue is passable but at times its a JOKE, for example when they are being interrogated in the jail or Nataliya telling James to stop killing, pfft yeah right... The action was okay, but again it falls on the 90s trick of 'hack-enemy-system-with-some-button-bashing-and-save-the-day,' lets not forget the part where they bust out the jail. BTW, im not a huge Bond fan, i mean i really loved Casino Royale, it was just so perfectly crafted, but when i see old Bonds, its difficult to tell apart which were the actual quality films, which ones do you say are good as by todays standards theyre just mediocre espionage-flicks.

Meh. Craig Bond is just too... emo. He's got no personality, he's just morose and sad all the time.
