That reminds me of why I am no longer in a band.
Best friend and lead singer/guitarest joined Air Force and is now stationed at Rammstein Air Force base in Germany. miss that guy.
It does not neccesarily have to be your one favorite just one you are currently listening to a lot?I listen to many bands of all different sub-genres on and off to the point where I couldn't possibly narrow it down to one band.

Right now, it's Testament. Saw them live and they were incredible. :DTheZ3nManThey were here yesterday I couldn't go though.
[QUOTE="Nevlim"]Alice Cooper (if you consider him metal. I do)VfanekRock isn't metal. I'm having a Cynic fanboi week, so Cynic at the moment. Although Ceremonial Casting's hitting the spot as well.Traced In Air is one of the best prog-death albums ever released :D (And of course Focus is godly as well:P)

BTW King Diamond is a God.
It's between Mastodon and Opeth. I'd give the edge to Opeth, but Blackwater Park and Damnation are bleh. Still Life is so mindblowing though. Decisions :x
I'm in a Porcupine Tree phase right now, so if you can count them metal, I'll say them. Steven Wilson is a god :P

What's with these topic making me choose only ONE band... My favorites are System of a Down, Nevermore, Dream Theater, In Flames and Iced Earth.
In fact i'm listening to Moonlapse Vertigo right now.airg6the album is incredible, I really love it. Moonlapse Vertigo being one of my favorite tracks on first listen through. It's such an emotional story, too.

speaking of tool, Maynard James Keenan was doing a Wine signing thing 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM MY HOUSE and I didn't hear about until a few hours after everything was over. WHAT THE HELL??? I PROBABLY WOULD'VE BEEN THE ONLY TOOL FAN THERE AND I COULD'VE GOTTEN SOME AWESOME AUTOGRAPH  please don't mod me for caps :cry:DivergeUnify
Trust me. Given how zealous Tool fans are, you wouldn't have been the only Tool fan there:P
