Hmm i always consider Lord of the Rings my favourite when it comes to threads like this but when that happns i neglect to mention films such as Armageddon, Fight Club and Saving Private Ryan who all come pretty close to the mark. Then there's the comedy side of thing's with the American Pie trilogy, the teen side of thing's with 10 Thing's I Hate About You, the slasher side of thing's with the Scream trilogy and the sci-fi side of thing's with the Matrix Trilogy. Ah so mnay films, so little time...

Too many to pick from, but here are some of my favorites:

Casino - Almost anything director Martin Scorsese makes is golden, but this is my all time favorite from him, at least until i see The Departed.

Re-Animator - One of the coolest horror flicks fron the 80's.  Any movie that has a severed head trying to orally please a woman can't be beat.

Heat - Great acting along with an excelent crime story.

All I can think of for now... Ironic, being I manage a video store.

#2 so pwns #1 in terms off bringing teh funny!!! Anyways, my all-time fav is still Donnie Darko! Props to the Jacob's Ladder and A Clockwork Orange too. Those are both great movies!
