What's your favorite genre of music?

Mine would have to be classic/hard rock (two separate genres, but I clumped them together for the purpose of the poll).

Metal and cIassical, for me, but, since cIassical isn't an option, I decided to go with metal :P Specifically its subgenres known as thrash, cIassic, and power metal.

Well, this is hard for me because I listen to classic rock and oldies, psychedelic rock, jazz, classical, some techno, Irish music, limited rap/hip-hop, etc. I guess I mostly listen to rock in general.

Metal. But I tend to go for the more atmospheric and melodic side of it. Bands like Primordial, Drudkh, Agalloch, Negura Bunget, Blind Guardian, Eluveitie, Empyrium, Coldworld, Summoning, etc.

I don't have a favorite, because i usually like individual bands more. Like i probably only like a few bands from each genre. I can't word this right now, need sleep.

classic rock, that is my choice. Better than all thrr crap rap and new music combined ever. There isnt any comparrisson to the quality of the music.

I'm honestly, tired of Hip-Hop(mainstream or Underground), I grew up around it all my life. And I'm honestly tired of Hip-Hop fans trying to boast it as the ultimate way of "Music Expression" and if you don't listen to it you're lame, and all other music is just screaming. Although that new guy Charles Hamilton has drawn me back in, that's all I have been listening too in Hip-Hop for the past weeks.

And R&B... can't stand that either.

I listen to a lot of instrumental stuff like Mogwai, Helios, Mono, Explosions in the Sky, ect. I listen to a little bit of every thing else, with the exception of country music.

eh I like mostly everything to some degree, but my favorite is Metal. Specifically the Metalcore subgenre.
