Wow. This brings me back. Either Rokco's Modern Life. Angry Beavers, or Rocket Power. I can't decide. Ha.
Anytime my bf or I says "I don't know" for any reason, we both think of the green slimeWhen I was little I used to tape double dare with mark sommers and watch it over and over.
edit: Oh and I forgot you can't do that on television.

Yeah,Kenan and Kelwas the stuff back in the day. Also, Doug and oldest Hey Arnold. The new ones got too dramatic.

Yeah, and not to mention Chowder is insane enough to get my appreciation.
And Nick still has a gem of a show going and thats Fairly Oddparents. That show is right up there with classic nick IMO. Spongebob also used to be pretty damn good.
Anyways, the thing I really miss about the old school nicktoons was the insane stuff they got away with.
As for old shows that ruled:
Rocko's Modern Life (this show is amazing because it has soo much innuendo that watching it with a mature mind is like a whole new experience)
Doug (this show is just so real. I felt ALOT like Doug growing up. It saddens me that no other show has come along and done so much with everyday life. It will always hold a special place in my heart.)
Angry Beavers (This show was crazy awesome. I remember taping a marathon when I was little.)
Rugrats (Oldschool Rugrats was amazing. They even had some entertaining video games back in the day)
Hey Arnold (I take back what I said in regards to Doug, this is the ONE show I have seen come even remotely close to showing real life experiences)
Are You Afraid of the Dark (Oh man this was the WAY to end the night. I miss those scary tales so much!!!)
All That (It was the kids version of Saturday Night Live and it was GREAT! Such a strong cast on that show!)
Salute Your Shorts (It amazes me how the live-action shows are so bad now on Nick. This one was phenominal and I still remember a bit of the Halloween episode)
KaBLAM! (Oh man this show was just great! Who else remembers Action league Now!?)
Rocket Power (An extreme sports kid show? AWESOME!)
Wild and Crazy Kids (They had such awesome contests on that show!)
Oh and for those always whining about MTV, It took a guy coming over from MTV to Nickelodeon to bring it from the worst in ratings to the top.
The Amanda Show, All That, Rocko's Modern Life, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, Invader Zim, Hey Arnold, and I guess that's it.
Rocko's Modern Life, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Angry Beavers.

I loved everything that was on Snick (Saturday Nick). Pete and Pete, Are you Afraid of the dark, Weinerville, All That, and just about everything...except for Hey Dude. I never got into that show.
