Favorite Period of History?

What is your favorite period of history that you've learned about and why? Mine personally is Roman history. So many badass people and they revolutionized today's government.

I like the Warring sates of Japan because the battles were strategicallly sound.

I find Roman history to be the most interesting.

1900 to 1980's is was the most fun to study for me.

I like American History. But I read frequently about the Medieval ages. The Crusades, Mongol Invasions, Three Kingdomsand other time periods.. I really don't have a favorite. I love all history as it is easily my favorite subject.

the Paleozoic period....... oh wait, you mean human history. well, considering that we have spent the last few millennium fermenting bigotry, wallowing in superstition, torturing each-other, and in essense wreaking havoc on ourselves and everything around us, I would have to say...... none.

Human history is far too interesting to only pick a few hundred years as my favorite.

American history. But Greek and Roman mythology > all.

I really liked Japanese history. Also everything about Napoleon was really interesting.

I can't really pick a past period I've had and say, yeah that was probably the best one.

ya this is true. WW1, WW2, and USSR are most interesting part of modern history.

17th and 18th centurys and cold war years

Ancient Greek(before rise of Rome): just an intresting time of mega city states.

and

Victorian (1850s-1900): We got colonialism, and the american west to work with. That and steam punk fiction8)

anything before 1877

1910-1945, for me. I'm also a fan of the Victorian Era and the frontier days of western America.

All of them have something of interest to me.
