Paint It Black is it legendary?-eddy-
It is in my book. I love that song.
For me it would be Hey Jude.
Or Red House.
Or Sober.
or....
JEEZE I can't make up my mind.
My vote goes to whatever you guys class as "legendary" by Black Sabbath, excpet Paranoid.

I know they're Metal, but to the average listener, they're just Rock. Incidentally, Black Sabbath were the band that introduced me to Metal, and anything heavier than Europe and Whitesnake, at age 5. So if I must, must, must pick a classic rock track, I'll go for Stargazer.[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"][QUOTE="Denny_Carmassi"]

I've gotten into a lot more metal since, but Black Sabbath and Paranoid are still two of my all-time favorite albums.

You sir, are win! Anyone who gets into Metal through Black Sabbath deserves some street cred. I'm a Dio era fan primarily, but love the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath album. On a final note, I think we'd best let this thread get back on topic....[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"][QUOTE="Denny_Carmassi"] I know they're Metal, but to the average listener, they're just Rock. I actually got into Sabbath through the Dio era, and for a while I preferred it. Nowadays I prefer the Ozzy era, although I think Heaven and Hell is an absolutely fantastic album. I also love Dio's works with other bands (Rainbow, Dio, Heaven & Hell). Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a great album, but I like Black Sabbath, Paranoid, and Vol 4 all more. To each his own, though :P.
I'm going to use the term "rock" fairly loosly.
