actually, not really.  I didn't even know who those guys in your sig were for about 2 years.  Finally I happened to come across that same picture and I learned that it was The Cure.   Of course, the same thing could be said of my sig and avatar.

Man, I loved the first 2 lostprophets albums. Their 3rd one was a big letdown.....

They have gotten too poppy now, although it isn't terrible, I just can't get into it like the old stuff....

Well, the title says rock/alternative, so I'm guessing he meant all genres of rock.

It does say alternative/rock in the title, so anything which falls under the category of rock will do, I believe...
