Favorite Scene from "The Avengers"? [SPOILERS]

There's so many fantastic scenes in "The Avengers", it's almost impossible to pick a favorite for me!

I loved the parts when Hulk smashes Loki, Hulk "fist bumps" Thor after they fight Loki's soldiers, and when Hulk screams to wake up Tony Stark. It's easy to say Hulk was my favrotie...

agree with the hulk pounding loki like a ragdoll. was hilarious.

i also liked when loki threw tony out of his building, then he(tony) had that suit come flying out and reads the bracelets on his wrists, then the suit gets on him. so awesome.

I liked Iron Man vs Thor and the final battle. Also, Tony Stark putting on the Iron Man suit in midair.

Shawarma. That scene was done perfectly, it was hilarious.

Thor: "You have no idea who you are dealing with!"

Ironman: "Shakespeare in the park? ... Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?"

Thor vs Ironman for sure.

Hulk in general. His arrival onto the climax was sooo epic and smashing Loki was so damn hilarious!

That was definitely the favorite of the people in the theater I was in, but I personally liked the part where Hulk and Thor were taking down that ship and then Hulk just punches Thor aside.

Holy crap, thanks for the heads up on the shawarma scene. I feel bad for missing it, but yeah, saw it on YT and that's classic Joss right there. Feels very Scoobies/Angel Investigations. Aside from the other previously mentioned, my favourite lines/parts have to be:

-"His first name is 'Agent'."

-the reveal of the helicarrier (gad damn was it impressive to look at)

-the mention of Coulson's cards, then a little later, he's in mid-conversation with Cap: "If it's not too much trouble", and you instantly get it (awesome brick joke)

-Stark's bit when he stands on Nick Fury's "command platform".

-"Shakespeare in the woods?"

-"He's adopted."

-During the final battle, Iron Man deflects a lazer off Cap's shield to take down an alien. Don't know why but I loved that so much.

-Thor fangirls. For whatever reason, it seemed like a Dr. Horrible callback.

opening scene with black widow. "im in the middle of an interogatoin right now" then proceeds to own everyone.

tony stark and his witty comments.i dont know why, but i really liked Bruce Banner and Tony Stark working together.

Just watched the movie today. Those parts were hilarious.

Hawkeye during the final fight. dudes a beast with a bow.

hawkeye shoots arrow at loki, loki uses catlike reflexes and catches said arrow.

Whedon has managed to own this year already movie wise along with Hemsworth which is quite impressive...

agree. this is the only movie to ever surpass the hype i had for it.

and i dont see movies in theatres often. i had a lot of hype for Captain America, and the movie didnt live up to that. the Avengers however, was amazing.

am definately gonna see the sequel.

Nope, it was filmed after the UK release just for the US audience. It was just all the Avengers sitting at a table eating Shawarma after the big battle.

ah gotcha, but yea it was filmed after (no idea why, maybe it was an afterthought) and I always wondered that to, it was the first I heard of the US getting a movie last, but I guess that's starting to be the new trend. Test it overseas and change it if necessary for the US?
