No friday night lights? As soon as I read your post up there I said to myself, I totally forgot about that. That was a really good movie. I liked Billy Bob Thorton in that movie more than when he was in the pretty awful remake of BNB.
How come non of you have said Raging bull, not only is it sport related it has some fantastic perfomances, excellent cinematography, Brilliant Dialogue and is put simply one of the best films ever made.
See it. Its better than any other boxing film (including Rocky and Million Dollar Baby)
