Mine is Space Odyssey

At the moment it's The Shining but honestly it's been a long while since I've revisted Barry Lyndon and now that I have a nice blu ray copy of it I have a feeling that may change...or not. Potato not potato.
A Space Odyssey followed closly by Full Metal Jacket. Only watched A Clockwork Orange once and it just wasn't for me. Was also pretty drunk though so it was not an ample time to watch a movie like that. A bit too nutty for me even for Kubrick.
I see a lot of the usual suspects mentioned here: 2001 A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange and I'm sure others will post Dr. Strangelove.
So I'm going to break the mold and go with Paths of Glory. Probably his most emotionally charged movie if you ask me.
How can anyone choose something other than Full Metal Jacket?Messiahbolical-Who is the chick in your sig? On topic, I have to say it's between Full Metal Jacket and A Clockwork Orange.
this isnt about naming films the guy has made its choose your favourite.I see a lot of the usual suspects mentioned here: 2001 A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange and I'm sure others will post Dr. Strangelove.

Actually I don't hate anything except mainstream....and I actually only hate the attention. Kubrick is personal taste. Nothing more...nothing less.Hating things because they're mainstream is soo mainstream. I don't hate the stuff because it's mainstream....I mostly pay no attention to it. I hate the media jumping on bandwagons and pushing things out to the public...which increases demand and leaves other deserving products behind. Sadly marketing makes sheep of people.[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="toast_burner"]It's rather obvious that you hate all things good in the world. Not being a Stanley Kubrick fan confirms that.
