I've only read one of his books, Under the Dome, it was horrible!

But, The Green Mile is a great movie if that counts. :P

My favourite Stephen King book is actually a collection of short stories called everythings eventual because I prefer shorter horror stories (like King I enjoy Lovecrafts work) but if I had to pick a full story it would probably be It. I have been meaning to read the Dark Tower books for years but still haven't gotten around to it.

I liked Under the Dome, and Firestarter, then again those are the only two I've read so far by Stephen King.

The Talisman, outstanding read, read it a few times now, never as fun as when I was 14 though. Hope they never try to make a movie from it, cause it would fail epicly.

IT is my overall favorite. I love alot of his work though, honestly. A couple that I didn't care for; Hearts in Atlantis and Duma Key.

Haven't read that many, but of the ones I have, my favorites are:

The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three

The Dark Tower IV: Wizard and Glass

Misery

Salem's Lot

The Stand

A lot of his novels I like things about, but they just get too...odd. Insomnia for example. It started out great, but when the protaganist starts seeing little bald men with ribbons above their heads, it just lost me. I still finished it, but I was expecting something different when I picked the book up. I guess I'm not too big on the supernatural stuff, which could also explain why I liked Misery so much, short as it was.

I liked the Dark Tower series a lot. For Christmas I got his new book Full Dark No Stars, which I'm looking forward to getting started on.

An interesting side note, I actually live in the same town as King and every once in a while I'll see him at the grocery store.
