Any kind of clean water will do. Though within my own home on a mundane basis I drink tap water from the bathroom through pipes made in the 80's. Karl319

I've actually made the mistake of taking a few massive gulps of water from my bathroom faucet one night after the water had been shut off for a couple days. I was half asleep, and it wasn't until I looked into the mirror to find the entire bottom half of my face covered in brownish-orange water. :x

I find that the best water is difficult to find, as it is usually well water from the homes of specific people I know who live in rural areas around my hometown. It usually has higher content of various minerals, and as long as there's nothing harmful in the water it can be quite good.

I'll stick with tap. Considering, in the United States anyway, we have perfectly lovely water piped to the interiors of our homes, it's really sad that this is even a question. Especially since bottled water tends to be inferior in taste to tap, as seen in plenty of blind studies.

Depends on what country you are getting your tap water!

In Cape Town, we get our tap water from the mountains, so its uber good quality. Pretty much on par with bottled water. A bit of Lemon with water is awesome.
