Who is your favourite classical composer?

Personally I am a fan of Mozart and Chopin.

Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Shostakovich, Paganini, Beethoven.... and more.

It is difficult to pick a favorite since they all have great pieces.

Edit: John Williams is awesome too.

I've listened to "Ode to Joy" way to many times to not say Beethoven.....& he was deaf....so that makes me respect him even more.

Mozart and Beethoven I guess. I don't really listen to their music, but I've watched movies about both of them in band.

Liszt since he's the best piano virtuoso of them all, and Frederic Chopin, the poet of the piano!

Ah, yes. The original punk.

"Ode to Joy" is still easy as hell to play.

I have several: Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Sibelius, Howard Shore, Jerry Goldsmith, Hans Zimmer...some Vivaldi, Rimsky-Korsakov and Liszt. That's about the majority of my music that I have.

Would one consider Martin o'Donnell a composer? if so, he's my favorite.

I love the halo soundtracks.

There's so many good composers, but as a proud Finn I would have to say Jean Sibelius. I also enjoy Wagner, Beethoven, Mozart, and the occasional Vivaldi & Chopin.
