Coheed and Cambria's series

or

Goblin Island-Nekrogoblikon

or

any of Opeth's cds. They aren't straight up concept albums, but usually have some sort of storyline especially Ghost Reveries.

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust by David Bowie.

It's just about the only glam rock-ish album that I can tolerate.

Gym Class Heroes has like a day in a highschool theme, like the songs are labeled as period 1, period 2, lunch, etc. and I really like the album.

It's a toss up between The Who's - Tommy, Pink Floyd - The Wall, or Savatage - Dead Winter Dead.

if you wanna class sgt. pepper then that... granted the concept never got further than sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band and billy shears, but it's still a great album.

if that's not counted then anything by The Hafler Trio

TDS is a concept album. Its about a persons inner conflicts that decend into further depths of depression until the eventual suicide. It is an extremely dark album and it is brilliant.
