Fedex better pay or give me an update.

So I bought an Ipod touch 4th gen with 1 day shipping. i shipped from Fedex yesturday and arrived today. Myself and my two roommates sitting in our apartment in San Francisco waiting for the buzzer but nothing ever came.

At 12 I checked the delivery status online and it said it was delivered at the FRONT DOOR at 11am...I live in a 5 story apartment building a block from Union Square and Fedex left a $300 device at the FRONT DOOR. Well guess what, it's not there, it's not ontop of the mailbox row, or at my apartment door.

Which means either it didn't get delivered and Fedex is lying ....or someone stole it. Do you think Fedex will pay for the lost goods? I already called them and they said they would give me an anser in 48 hours 48 HOURS?!

I could imagine that Fedex has a few thousand questions to go through every day. LustForSoul

I just sucks that I don't know where and expensive device is for over two days.

Alright well that makes me feel better. Cept that I paid for one day shipping. So this is disappointing and still a little disturbing.

I paid for Guaranteed three-day shipping once.

Two and a half weeks later, my new motherboard arrived.

The same thing happened me when I bought HD555 headphones. Waited all day for them to deliver, nothing came. I checked the website and it said it was delivered on my front porch, but I was home that entire day so I know that was BS. Turns out they sent it to the wrong address. :x Lucky for me, the guy was kind enough to give me the package himself so no harm no foul there.

From then on though I just made sure that a signature is required because filing a claim is such an inconvenience.

Did you get it off amazon or apple? Or other?

I contacted Amazon (the seller) and they said that if it didn't show up in two days they would buy me a new one which is a relief. I checked and Fedex DOES deliver on saturday but UPS does not.

Only my roommates knew but we're all close friends and no one left the apartment today.
