As I am posting this from my cellphone (lg gd880 i think) i find myself wondering about its technological capabilities. Even though its screen is a touch screen, it only recognises the touch of my bare fingers. However my finger is lost from various activities I used to occupy myself with as a young and energetic child. The plastic fake finger i use from then on is rendered obsolete, since it has no flesh on it. I tried placing various kinds of meat products on the tip of my fake finger in order to trick the touch screen, with no results. Having ny left thump do all the typing in such written messages as this one, is a painful process. Any advice?

But assuming you don't live in Korea, you will have to get these in Asian supermarkets.

WTF???

Dude. Go talk to a prosthetics company or something.

But to be honest, your situation seems somewhat unique so you may just have to live without a touch screen cell phone. Tragic, of course, but you can't expect high-tech gadgets to work for everyone.

They sale gloves you can wear and type on touchscreens, just go buy some of those, cut a single finger off the glove and glue to plastic finger.. Solved!

Are you willing to do the cutting? I have blood and cut fingers.

Are those fake meat fingers? I would surely upgrade my plastic one.

no, they are actually common sausage snacks sold at convenient stores, but they did experiment on these last year or so on how well it can interact with touchphones (because during winter it's just painful for you to take off your gloves off whenever you have to do something on your phone), and this one was the best. The sale of these increased after that experiment. It's used kinda like DS's stylus, though.

Our lawn mower was not working and since it was night and i was starting to panick, i placed my finger under the machine to check if anything was wrong with it. I removed a a big piece of wood stuck in the blades and they started spinning before i had the the chance to retrieve my finger.

Definitely. What's wrong with thumbs though? I have a HTC Desire and don't think I use anything other than thumbs during web browsing/texting.

My right thumb is the one being absent.

get a rubber finger grip thing. Like a thimble, except they're used for turning pages in books. They're textured a bit, so it'll "grip" the screen like skin would.
