Wow I only had IE before and just downloaded Firefox yesterday. My computer is so much faster now. I love it and never will use IE again...
Do you guys have FF or do most of you still use IE?? Or do you have others like Opera, ect. ?

I have have not noticed any real speed differences between the two. Sometimes I think FF is slower, but it could be my imagination.

lollersI just downloaded Firefox today and I must say... I like it so far! After years of blindly saying IE > Firefox (Despite the fact that I had never actually USED Firefox) I decided to download it today and I'm impressed so far. Sure, IE 7 pretty much took all the best things from FF and added it to their own internet browser, but for some reason I've had a much better time using FF. I can't say that it's faster or slower - I haven't used it enough to decide yet, but I like it! No crashes so far or anything :P.
My ONE complaint after 2-3 hours of using it though is that new tabs are harder to create in FF than in IE7. In IE7 all you do is click the small tab box next to all the tabs and a new one is automatically created. In FF you have to press CTRL-T if you don't already have 2 tabs open which is kind of annoying, but definately not a browser-breaking thing, lol. That's my only complaint I could find so far :).
right click on the toolbar, and choose customize, look for anew tab thing and drag it to the other ones.
i suck at explaining though.
I suggest u use Opera. Its faster, IMO. It has lots of near featuers..like mouse gestures(U can click and hold the right mouse button and move the mouse right or left to go the next page or back), theres more screen area for viewing, and the neatest feature...a quick dail like feature. I set a number for a website..and all u have to do is type in the number in the add bar, and walla..ur there. been using Opera for years now..and it has never let me down. Unlike some IE's we can mention. freakickThere are extensions to add those features to FF. I switch between Opera 9 and FF. I don't like the speed dial feature in Opera (i have way more then 9 sites that i view regularly...i mean just for finances i have 4 ( 2 banking sites, 2 credit card sites). I like the feel of Opera more overall, however FF is still my main browser since Opera seems to crash occasionally.
Ever since the update the other day, my firefox has been crashing every ten minutes or so.
It makes me sad.

Don't forget to download AdBlock Plus.
I understand that sites want to make money, but these flash ads that block the text you are trying to read are getting ridiculous, and I would never click on one anyway out of principle just because they piss me off so much.
IE7 is a massive improvement over IE6, so I switch back and forth from FF and IE7. Same speed, but IE looks nicer imo. Plus I like how it groups the Tabs together.limpbizkit818
FF Add-on themes FTW

Aye. After I downloaded Firefox today I looked through the addons and I saw that. At first I was like "No way will this work..." but I tried it anyways. Just on Gamespot alone I've had such a better viewing experience! No annoying banners that expand when I'm trying to click another link, no huge banners on the sides of the screen... it's amazing. I'm so glad I downloaded Firefox today. I still have IE on the quick launch just in case FF screws up, but hopefully I'll never have to use it again :).
