I must have a special magical version because my FF works better than Chrome, Safari and IE.

I'd use Opera if more websites liked it/I was a hipster.

I've tried Opera (different versions over the years) but the websites I frequently use don't seem to work properly with it. Same goes with Chrome, it's a fast browser but most websites I use don't work with their full functionality.
ive been trying to use chrome more often, particularly for coming here. (its a tiny bit more compatible with gs) in my time doing so, i have noticed that firefox does run a little faster, better, and with extra bits and bobbles that i have use for. in my case anyway.
Yeah there's something odd about firefox lately...and I didn't even update it...or maybe that's just my internet. -_-
like i said in the other thread
"
"Please stop using Firefox"
No. i shouldnt have to. the site should work like was intended.
ive used Firefox for years. on the old GS. on this new site. i shouldnt have to use a new browser because you guys cant run this site properly."

Which websites?
Been using Chrome ever since it was released. Runs incredibly fast and most of the annoying bugs are gone.
I don't see much difference in speed between Firefox and Chrome when it comes to speed. Both browsers are pretty fast. However, my GTX 560 Ti choked more with Chrome when hardware acceleration was used. Plus, Chrome is much more of a nagger (eg, attempts to log me in Google, etc). So, F-it. I uninstalled Chrome. I have no real need for it anyway. I still use Chrome on my tablet though.
Been using Firefox for years and it gives me no problems, went to Chrome for a little while and ended up going back to Firefox. IE crashes everytime I attempt to open it lol.

Which websites?
Well for example this one, Chrome has a few issues with it that FF does not. Another one is Yahoo7.com where Chrome doesn't let me right click on links and open them in a new tab, which FF does.
Also I sometimes drag a website to my desktop to read later. With a website that has a forum on it and it's past the first page, so for example www.abc.com/forumcomments-2 Chrome doesn't remember that it's on the second page, while FF does.
I use FF at home and Chrome at work and FF is just better imo.
I haven't used FF in years because it is a resource hog even when it does work well.
I have stopped using chrome recently because recently it hasn't been working on all sites. Especially sites that have streaming flash video or live streaming.
I have been using safari the most now cause it's the most stable for me.
I think I have been through every browser, of course it started with Firefox, then Safari (god knows why) and here I am on Chrome

You should give it another go, they fixed a lot of the issues present from years back.

there's nothing to discuss really. it's a throwaway statement without anything to back it up.
as a gamer you shouldn't want to see firefox die (it won't). this past year they were the first to port epic's unreal engine 3 to the browser through a subset of javascript (asm.js) that they've pioneered which will massively improve performance in browser based games. the rest of the browser vendors are scrambling to catch up. ie support expected around 2020 ;)
chrome supports the most new web technologies (HTML5 etc.) by some distance and in most areas leads the way in terms of speed and performance. after that it's just a matter of personal preference
I've used FF for years and it is a friendly and versatile browser certainly. But in the last few months it started running significantly slow for me. It takes a long time to launch and it got to a point where I click on the icon to open it and it would take so long to actually launch that I forget that I opened it in the first place. The browsing experience it self is slow ass. It freezes often, crashes sometimes and its just slow and laggy altogether.
Switched to Chrome and its superiorly faster. Granted it begs you to log in with your google account which can be annoying and there are a couple of features I miss from FF, but its way faster and the browsing experience is much better that its really hard to justify a return to FF.
One shitty thing about Chrome though is how much its dictionary sucks.
I liked chrome but after the new OS X Mavericks update it crashes on a daily basis. Every day I await my daily crash and it never fails to deliver.
I've used Firefox since version 0.9. I got mad at it around version a billion, but now that we've version a billion trillion I've forgotten why I got mad at it. I did like the old Opera better. I'm only using the new Chrome-ified Opera because my Firefox got busted somehow (I think by ccleaner) and I'm too lazy to fix it.
I've always used opera but that's getting difficult since a lot of website aren't supporting it (namely this one). I've never been a fan of firefox, to be honest all the hype over it years ago when it was never that great put me off it. But it does the job. I'd probably be happy with chrome if it weren't for the fact that google make it. Shame opera's going chrome but I guess it's the most practical thing to do.
I was really impressed with FF before, and now it's just complete junk. There are plenty of naysayers, but Google Chrome all the way.
Stopped using Opera and started using Chrome when opening up the program took waaay longer than it should to open ANY program, and then whole websites didn't load properly. A browser should be functional, bottom line--Opera was not.
Haven't had any issues with Chrome so far. Wish I could customize the appearance a little more (there was a time my "Recently Visited" Google search bar was the logo in all white, and it looked badass) but it's fast and feels light enough.
Chrome destroyed firefox along with every other browser a long time ago.
Chrome is the only browser worth using.
for me, in places, it can be remarkably slower than ff though. some places firefox can cut load times by more than half; its all together less than twenty seconds but i'll take what i can get, if i can get it. i'll admit chrome is much more stable with itself, however even when against ie it instills an air of villainy. the way google conducts itself always makes for me wishing i could have less to do with it.
im all butt hurt about firefox'ks's recent betrayal. i had all my settings for it just so, na'mean? i.....i.....uninstalled.......:::::
