Firefox is so much more functional and is so much better-designed that it's not even funny.
(That's probably the worst sentence I've ever written, but I don't know how to fix it.)
I'd like to have just Firefox, but IE is Window's preferred clumsy slave, and won't let me keep Firefox without a lot of nonsense. Sort of like Apple can be better as a system, but everything else is dominated by PC $$ today. We never get much choice when it comes to what our $$ will buy computer-wise...
[QUOTE="soulfood4"][QUOTE="General_X"]Firefox, surfing the net with adblock plus is great, why would I need to subscribe to Gamespot to remove the ads :PGeneral_XI didnt know GameSpot had ads...Maybe it doesn't anymore, but back in my day... (Member since 2003) I have the OT forums on my favorites, so i prbly just skip over them. Seriously what else is GameSpot for?

Seriously what else is GameSpot for?Well, the PC Hardware section basically tought me how to build the computer I'm typing on right now, and I'll agree it is pretty much only good for the forums. (By ads I meant the banner ads that is/were at the top of the page.)

Wow didnt know that...but ads dont bother me, only the ones which take over the page.Firefox doesn't do it by itself, but the Adblock Plus Add-on does, see an image you never want to see again? Just right click on it and select "Adblock Image" to cause Adblock to prevent it from displaying forever.
