Internet Explorer Pros: available with Windows right off the bat Cons: vulnerability issues, slow, closed source Firefox Pros: faster, safer, open source Cons: not included in Windows I expect Chrome to overcome Firefox once it has official add-on support.
I have used only Firefox (well, I've used Chrome a few times, I guess) in the past several years. I only use IE when I have to...so, basically, when I'm at school. :P

The problem is that while you're using them to "open a page on the internet" you are exposing yourself to hackers and viruses. With that said, internet explorer is more popular and therefore, more vulnerable. Firefox> internet explored
