First date, blind date, advice fast please!

I'm going on a date with someone for the first time tonight, it's kind of a blind date and it's kind of professional (business), but it's also kind of not. I am going to meet her at the St. Louis Bread Company tonight. Should I dress casual or fancy? Should I bring flowers? What should I do? I know very little about this girl (other than that she is young a college student, she is hot [according to my uncle], she's German [or atleast she speaks German], and my uncle knows her).



p.s.
I have about 6 hours before the date and am currently wearing a StarCraft II t-shirt (well, I wouldn't dress really nice for school, that wouldn't seem to fit that environment). Do you think I should change into a turtle neck or something? I think it will be fine because she is tutoring me...alone...at a restaurant (not a fancy restaurant, but not a fast food restaurant either).

Just be yourself. Hell, go nude if you like.

dress casually, for definite. be easygoing, but assertive. bring flowers if you like but do NOT act like this:

"um.. yeah.. I got some flowers for you..?"

be ASSERTIVE. you're a man (or at least I hope you are :P) and you should show her that you can be charming and in control. be upfront but not sporadic.. ask her where she'd like to go. if she doesn't know then just go wherever you feel like going. NEVER go somewhere that you do not want to go if it isn't something she suggests.

jeans, a simple t-shirt, maybe an open shirt over that would be good. be hygienic, but bottom line - be confident. all of this information is useless without confidence.

EDIT: :lol: I didn't see that you said she was tutoring you. I dunno, depends on how much older she is than you. but all the information in the top of my post still stands relevant regardless.

ditch the flowers. dress nice, but not something you wouldn't normally wear. definitely don't wear a starcraft tshirt if you're trying to impress a girl.

a nice botton down shirt good pair of jeans and a nice pair of shoes. Girls always look at the shoes first so no dirty ones, if so clean them up. I take it she is your German tutor. try and flirt with her through german she will correct you if you are wrong but its a start for great conversation. Clean up do the 3s and you will be fine.
