First day of high school. Worst Day of my life.

Waking up at 7 and walking to school, I expect a good school full of dedicated, hardworking students.

Instead I see 500 of these:

All my friends are located 15 miles from my school and where I live, so i'm the "new kid."

Today was my first day and I was a loner, but it was kinda weird since i was one of the popular kids in middle school.

Can anybody pitch me some advice? I really just can't go through 4 years going to school with these kids, and i really dislike being a loner.

I'm considering joining the breakdance club, yet i fear there's just going to be more racist wannabes there...

Give it time. High school will be one of the best eras of your life. You're hanging out with your friends all day, have no worries and the work is easy. Just enjoy it.

Whoa, if your school is full of kids like the one in the picture you go to a pretty tubular school dude. Don't know why you're complaining.

It was the first day, you're a freshman, face it, you're on the bottom of the social totem pole there. In middle school you were at the top, and it's a complete reversal. We've all been there. Just try not to be too geeky to the point that people laugh at you, and you should be good.

i don't believe a thing called popular exists in the school world... well known yes, but popular, no...anyway..its just the first day.. you have loads of time to shape your future

It's only been the first day, and even if everyone dresses like that, a few could relate to you.

High School is asome. Except for the Freshman year, because NOBODY likes a Freshman.

Well obviously it's not the absolute WORST...it's sort of just like a big change in my life that i'm having trouble adjusting to
