Let's see..........I nearly killed a sex offender who was riding his bike, my partner ran a red, we drove our teacher to k-Mart to get photos developed, our teacher has us drive him to one of his friends houses, we were late getting back so he had us speed, and he gave us 10/10.

It was like that.

trust me, its nothing to worry about. i was a little nervous when i had my first lesson, but im have a license now and more importantly im still alive

just remember to TAP the breaks, dont STOMP on it. oh, and stay as close to the middle lines as possible, you have to watch out for parked cars

those are the two biggest problems most people have

pretty much took me right out onto the road.. basically i had to drive the previous person who was riding in the back of the car home... that was the very first thing i had to do. then the guy took me to his office where i ended up waiting in the car for like 30 minutes while he took care of some issues in his office... then just drove around streets in my town and practiced doing k-turns i think...

just remember the car tends to go where you are looking...

that was basically my first lesson too, but the guy had a dvd player in his car and he made me watch some short tutorial video before taking the car out of park

There's not much to be worried about. Unless your instructor is totally bat **** insane you'll probably start off on some quiet side streets. Hell in some courses you don't even get to drive on the first lesson.

Don't hold on to the steering wheel too tightly, because when you shoulder check, your car might swerve a bit.

my guy was awesome, but he was also scary as hell

he was a big guy with a slight arabic accent, but was was scary was whenever we passed by the scene of an accident he would turn to me and say something along the lines of "See, this is why you need me, cause if you screw up, you're ****ing dead"

but other then that, he was awesome. the guy blasted metallica in the car the whole time during every lesson

See when I "learned" how to drive with an instructor, I already knew the ins and outs of driving from driving before hand(by the lake getting boat out and driving the old country roads by our house). Also, videogames made by corning exceptional as well as how to acceleration. Oh yeah, and when were were doing similated spinouts, I was doing dounts and showing the insturctor how long I could pull a drift off for!
