From Wikipedia:
Carl Fredricksen is 78 years old and walks like a hunchback with his tripod cane. When Carl was a child, he met and married a girl named Ellie who grew up in a small midwestern town. Ellie always dreamed of exploring the visit but eventually passed away before she got a chance. Now, when developers threaten to move him into an assisted living home, Carl decides to fulfill his promise to Ellie. To accomplish this, he befriends a chubby 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell. The two opposites match up for thrilling adventures as they encounter wild terrain, unexpected villains, and all the terrifying creatures that wait in the jungle.
Doesn't sound to bad, kinda fits in with the trailer.
Looks like it might be about a funny old man with a dream of flying or something lol.Covenant117
That old man made me chuckle for some reason.

of course it's going to be awesome, its made by pixar :D, speaking of pixarm TOY STORY 3 2010! whoo, lolsmokingsbad
I'm really praying that they can keep the charm from the previous films. Toy Story was a career-inspiring film for me. Hopefully the third one lives up to my expectations. >.>

Something about that movie, was just great THANK YOU PIXAR!Hey guys, I was at Comic-Con yesterday, and I went to see Director Pete Docter debut the next Pixar film. It is called "Up".
That teaser trailer poster already shows absolutely nothing about the film. Yesterday at Comic-Con in the press conference, about 15 minutes of the actual film was shown, and commentary from Pete Docter, interview video with how he came up with the idea of the film, and Q&A with the audience.
All I gotta say is Pixar's next film looks absolutely amazing!
I'm sure it will be another hit, like every other film by Pixar. I wish I can show more with what was shown, but the conference made it clear not to take videos.
But yeah, I don't think anyone would be disappointed. It looks absolutely stunning, and with what music I heard so far from the film, it's quite beautiful.
So yeah, that teaser shows nothing whatsoever from what I saw at Comic-Con, but I think it's definitely worth getting excited about. Besides, this comes from the company who created WALL-E, and I know how crazy everyone has been over that film.:)
PS: No the film isn't about balloons. It's just symbolic with part of the story.
A movie about baloons? what in the **** hell is this garbage?
Wait, what? It's made by pixar???20/10, 4 THUMBS UP, MOVIE OF THE FOREVER, WHAT CRITICS ARE RAVING "MAKES ME WISH I NEVER HAD KIDS"
This looks like it could be really funny!
For Bolt though, I stopped when they said Miley Cyrus was doing voice work. Why Pixar?! You were going at the right direction!
Guys... None of you guys even know a thing about this film, so don't criticize it. NO it is not about balloons. Read my last post. I actually got the opportunity to see more about this film than any of you will ever get to see until the day the movie comes to theaters next year, and all I can say is this film is amazing.
We all thought WALL-E was the best Pixar movie ever, but all I gotta say is Pixar continues to set the bars higher with each film released, and Up is amazing.
Also, Martialbullet.... Bolt is not even made by Pixar...... So if you're blaming Pixar for Miley Cyrus being in Bolt, that's complete ignorance, and you need to do some research with who's making what films.
