Not to annoy anyone but I believe why The Boosh is getting so much hate is because the people who don't find it funny are American and don't understand the British humour.

The Mighty Boosh is very popular over here in England. Yet I hardly hear anyone talk about FoTC.

This is my opinion only and I have nothing against Americans but a similar situation is when Monty Pythons Flying Circus was first unveiled to the USA. They didn't understand it.

Hmmm...I'm American and based on the video provided for The Mighty Boosh, it's vastly superior to Flight of the Choncords.

I can not believe that FotC are losing. They are the most amazing fourth-most-popular folk/parady duo on the planet! Seriously, they even have a genious TV show.

Not all Americans just most of them then. :)

But of course I'm going to say this as I also think British music is better. But that's an argument for another thread...

FotC is big in England.. its true that a vast majority of Americans wont get the mighty boosh

It will remain a cult over there ...still I reckon thousands of americans dig it

the mainstream is mostly for canned-laughter sitcoms over there .. so that kinda person probably wont like it

I watched The Mighty Boosh a while ago and have the DVD's... it has some very funny episodes. I think Flight of the Conchords is similar, but because I'm Australian I might get more of the New Zealand jokes... and also FotC is on TV ATM and TMB isn't, so I voted FotC because I'm watching it now (as in week to week) and it's brilliant.

It also probably helps FotC for me that I pretty much laugh just when I see Jermaine's face. It's all funny though, I hope FotC gets a new season going soon.

Yep, there are lots of New Zealand jokes in there. A few about Kiwi culture, but mainly just about how Americans have no idea whatsoever about New Zealand. And the guy who plays Jemaine is Jemaine.

I'm not really familiar with The Mighty Boosh, but IMO FotC is just amazing. From the hilarious stand-up singing, to the actualy plot in the show...it's all made of win.

Flight of The Conchords is actually funny. So right there you know which is better.Samwel_X
