Seriously, are we watching the same two teams that played on Saturday night?

Do not care at all who wins this series.... I'd like to see Kane or Toews win it being so young. But at the same time i hate Hossa, and seeing him lose this by coming so close 3 years running would make me laugh, But they did knock out The sharks who knocked out my favorite team so another plus for them from me. As for Philly i have no big beef with them.

Hawks are noything without Niemi.psychobrew
Agreed. Flyers dominated the third period and played well the other two. It has come down to goaltending and Niemi has been simply phenomenal. Otherwise, I'm not impressed with the "favorite" Hawks at all.
Sharks didn't choke. They fought tooth and nail against the Hawks in a close couple of games that the Hawks scraped out wins in. The Sharks choked against Anaheim the other year in the first round. San Jose did not choke this year. If any teams would be up for that nomination they would be Boston and Washington, for failing to finish off their opponents and performing badly enough to easily let their opponents back in to win the series. My sharks just had to choke in the playoffs again . . .
I rooting for the Flyers though cause my hate for the blackhawks.

Chicago edged out Philly in the first two periods and Philly played a ways harder than Chicago in the third. Pretty even overall. Although Niemi has been very good.[QUOTE="psychobrew"]Hawks are noything without Niemi.xXBuffJeffXx

Right, how many powerplays did the Hawks have in Game 1, and STILL ended up with a 6-5 victory? 6 goals for a team with 0 pps and 1 short-handed goal, I think that's pretty amazing. Just because he didn't get pulled doesn't mean he's the only player that has had an effect on the Flyers, who are now down 2-0. Keep on not being "impressed" with the Hawks.[QUOTE="xXBuffJeffXx"][QUOTE="psychobrew"]Hawks are noything without Niemi.DarkPrinceXC

This is the story of the playoffs. Exactly how people treated my Habs. I don't think they realize the goalie can only do so much to contribute to a win. Please Log In to post.
