Which Guitar You you say is better for beginners?

im guessing the TC means an epiphone, because Gibsons certainly aren't beginners guitars, unless you're some fancypants. If you're a beginner get a cheap epiphone les paul, sg, or a universal beginner squier strat.
But in the end, real men use Gibson SG's. *poses in cocky way with guitar*
A Les Paul, Explorer, or Flying V is not a beginner's guitar.
Go to a local music store and try some guitars. I hate it how people are always like "GIBSON FTW!!" IMO, there are a lot more choices better than gibson, still good guitars though.

even though i play an sg, i agree completely. its all guitar hero's fault:evil:.

It's not the guitar it's the player.Out of all my guitars(one of which being an Epiphone Les Paul special) i play the acoustic guitar I got for free which i had to flip the strings around for the most. It's beat up, very cheap, I can't even see the dots to easily navigate the fretboard but it's the only guitar I really play out of my 4 guitars. I write all my music on it and perform all of my music on it too.

Amen.
Never bother with a V, period... especially for a beginner. It's an unstable shape that can make for unstable playing.
The best guitars on the market for beginners, or even in general as good mid-range (these days I don't consider them high-end) is Ibanez, hands-down.
They play the best, have good construction and are versatile. They also have great sound and can be had at great prices.
I played Ibanez exclusively for many years, before moving on to 7-string ESP baritones, which is all I will play anymore.
Les can be friggin' heavy and cumbersom (weight distribution I've always found odd), I wouldn't advise it.
