What's y'alls perception of people from the Southern United States?
Do you find it really "country" that I say "y'all"? Even though most people who say "y'all" in the Southern states are not what you would call "country".

For the most part you are right then...Rednecks and old people.CHAOSWEAV3R
 I have to say I agree with that to a certain extent.
I prefer northern Minnesota.
If you are in southern cities and suburbs, there aren't really any rednecks. There are plenty smart, normal people who might talk with an accent. And they might happen to be religious and probably pretty nice. I find people from the north think they are better than other people and aren't as friendly to strangers.
I also find there are a lot more of the "artsy" type women up north. I like southern accents on girls down south. I also find parties are much crazier in the south. People are much more friendly and in New Orleans, public drunkeness is funny and an old past-time lol.
If you haven't been to New Orleans, you are missing out. So many interesting characters who are very friendly but funny and crazy. It's a good time.
Are you asking for another Civil War?What's y'alls perception of people from the Southern United States?

So if the south is filled with as many hicks as I think....I hate them...
