I went a good few weeks without going to school once and ended up having truant officers at my door. I had to get my teachers to sign a card after every lesson to say I was there after that. I wouldnt recommend doing it.
In grade 10 I skipped a lot of classes. I missed almost every math class. The reason why is because it didn't matter if you didn't go to school there and they wouldn't do anything if you did. Also my friend dropped out of school and would always come to my school with "presents".
I've skipped class a few times, mostly during gym, because I was too tired to even keep my eyes open. I just slept in the bathroom all period. I never got caught.
I never skipped class in HS because I went to a small private school and it would be too obvious if you did. Tonight I actually skipped my college class and hung out in NYC. I was going to go to the New York Rangers game, but none of my friends wanted to join me so I left early and now I am home. I wouldn't suggest making it a habit, skipping classes though, because it could get you in trouble, especially if you skip classes for your major, which I did tonight.

Yeah I skipped a couple of times when I was still in high school. I'm in college now. Most of the times I skipped were because the teachers told us ahead of time, that there wouldn't be any work. So some friends and I would pretty much go off campus and eat out instead of attending class. When there was a crazy subsitute that was full of crap, we'd leave as well.
And Senior Skip Day was very eventful at the beach. A couple of friends and I dug a deep hole in front of a cooler and covered it with a beach towel and sand. Tricked about 10 of our friends to fall into that hole. lol Called my friend who was dumb enough to attend school that day, and told me the senior parking lot was practically empty.
i did once but well i thought it was really boring cuz no1 skipped with me and i was on block scedualing so i walked around the halls blasting my ipod for 80mins
better than class but not worth it in the long run

I dont find it funny,some people just dont enjoy being in class.If you think its stupid,then thats good for you,everyone is not the same.
The least I've done if you'd call skipping class was when one day I woke up 30 minutes after class started (school being a 15 minute walk away). It was just a PE class with a teacher who just sits in a chair slacking off, while barely controlling the class. I thought "I'll be marked absent anyway, so it wouldn't be different if I didn't go", so I went back to sleep.
Skipping lessons in university (the on I'm going to anyway) is almost a must, the classes are really boring and actually makes the brain numb. Besides, 1st year of psychology is a cakewalk, and if you're not able to learn that stuff on your own, you shouldn't take it. And here in Norway we only pay around 80 dollars a year for our education:) But if your studying something that requires some studying, I'd recommend going to every class!
I've skipped, but it wasn't anything huge. Just stayed home watched T.v and played video games, except on my half-brother's birthday i skipped and we went to the mall. My freshman year i missed about 9 days, the majority being me having "missed" the bus.

I'm in 10th grade now, and last year, my friend got a 0.0 GPA for cutting every class all semester lol, but he still went to school, just not to class.
My friend and I skipped Freshman year during the winter time..and I can safely say it was **** stupid of us, because we had to stand outside and wait for my friend's mom to go to work..it was like 5 degrees outside and we had now where to go..
There were some great times I skipped though, like going to McDonalds and talking to some cute girls..and eating hashbrowns..they're good, haha. Watching pr0n and eating pizza was also fun..except the part where there was like three other dudes in the same room..:lol:
I really don't understand skipping classes. I mean, if you really didn't want to go to school why not just stay home? I mean, why wake up early in the morining to go to school and not go to all your classes? Just stay home lol. I never skipped classes (i'm in my senior year). I passed all my classes, got more than enough credits to graduate, now im only in school from 7am to 11am. And yes many people envy that schedule.
