For those who have heard about the mine explosion down here in New Zealand . . .

There has been a second explosion, and according to officials none of the 29 miners could have survived.

Man, I really can't imagine what the families of those miners must be going through right now. They'll be in my prayers.

Been following this. Really sucks. Though too be honest, I don't really think they would have survived long after the initial explosion. There was not enough oxgyen down there to last the whole time and the carbon minoxide levels were far far far too high.

Oh my... That's absolutely horrific. I feel terrible for those who lost their lives in the 2nd explosion, and their families. That's even worse than it they had been killed in the initial explosion.

Tragic, after initially skeptical that they could survive I came to the conclusion this morning that they might very well make it out... Then this. Horrible stuff.

I also want to know about the 27 miners in China who were trapped because of floodwaters a few days ago, but the news didn't consider that important.

Mmm I think they got all out. The flood waters were pumped out. There should be a news article about it either yesterday or day before. I could be going insane and imagining it though.

I live in NZ.. Its been all over One news, But I hadn't realised that there had been another explosion :( (I missed the news.)

I really feel for those families, I still had hope they would find them.
