For those whose government tracks their Internet IP or have censorship

Is it possible to know whether or not your Internet provider is tracking you? For those who live in Australia or recently I've heard that the UK has proposed a sort of... Internet watching of bandwith.

What I mean is, can the government track you from the moment you open a browser to google and search "ocean", and then be directed to a wikipedia page, or post on GameSpot and know each forum that you've been to? Without your knowledge? And if so, is that legal where you're from and can you prove it in a case?

Does that make sense or sound a bit confusing?

This kind of spying is not only possible but happens all the time

Any kind of radical website you visit will leave certain (''things'') on your pc which will then be used to track your movement in cyberspace

same goes for any kind of illegal activity (illegal encompassing terrorismand or child pornography /some others)

All ISP's are obliged to provide access to any gov't agency that requests it

i assume that's how many bloggers end up in jail here in iran,there are APPs that help you surf the net unidentified though,that's how we bypass the filtering here,i've one if you're interested
