Hi,simple question.Do you listen to music with lyrics NOT in english.

Please,do name some artists or bands.

Also, for the people that only listen to music in english. Why?

I listen to
Rammstein,Galneryus,Versailles,Rhapsody,Korpiklaani,Natan(although they speak my native language)

I like some German stuff since I can kind of understand it.

Moskau is the culinary equivalent of a German YMCA.

I love Russian Male Opera singers as well - they tend to have really deep voices. And the Russian language is just dripping with masculine dominance.

I like it. I rarely care about lyrics, so it doesn't bother when I usually don't understand what they are saying. European metal/techno and J-pop would be favorite foreign genres.

Majority of the music that I listen to comes from European countries such as Norway, Sweden, Italy and Finland. I only listen to a few American bands, those being Agalloch, Darkest Hour, Arsis, Cynic, Sculptured and The Absence. My stance is that foreign music tends to be more pleasing to my ears, at least when it comes to Metal. Although, a lot of the bands that I listen to still use English for the lyrics there's a whole lot that are in Norweigen. A good example is Windir, it uses some special sort of Norweigen dialect.

If I hear something I like, I put it in my library. I don't care about understanding lyrics since I rarely listen to English lyrics anyway. That said, the only foreign band that I listen to a lot is Rammstein.

I haven't really checked out much new music, but I always seem to like random Japanese and Korean music over the vast majority of mainstream music in the US.

I don't really care so long as its good. That being said, there's something to actually understanding the lyrics your listening to that makes music special. I don't think I'd enjoy my music if it was all foreign artists who didn't sing English.

Rammstein, Slot, various j-pop and j-rock songs from anime, various danish bands (my mothertongue, so that doesn't count as foreign to me), all of the english speaking bands I listen to (foreign to me..) I can't really think of many more bands I listen to that have foreign lyrics...

Yes, I enjoy listening to foreign artists such as Sara Tavares, Simone de Oliveira, Humanos, etc. Though, they are of my native language so, I wouldn't know if they would be considered exactly 'foreign' in my present stance :P

I'm also a great fan of French artists, namely Edith Piaf.
