[QUOTE="JML897"] [QUOTE="Jemdude"]I think this is very good news indeed. All Christians should rejoice when a person repents of their previous way of living and adopt a Christian lifestyle. :)Dracargen
I think when people think of the stereotypical arrogant Christian, this is the kind of image they have in their mind.
So, because Christians have one more person following the same faith, it makes the religion "more correct"? If you truly believe in what you believe in, why should it matter if one more person agrees with you? Why should there be any rejoicing? Is this a popularity contest?
I'm sure there are many ex-Christians who changed their religion to something else -- heck, I am one of those people. Why is someone essentially doing the opposite newsworthy?
Dude. . .Christians rejoice because that means somebody else is going to Heaven when they die, and that is a very good thing. Hell, I rejoiced when the leader of the satanist union here became a Christian. You are REALLY reading too much into his message.
That is exactly right. Christians always rejoice when a non-Christian becomes a Christian.
