Fox News "Fair and balanced?"

It appears FNC really believe they are "fair and balanced." Do you agree?

I don't and i can give a few reasons why not. Hannity's America anyone? Fox and friends?, i can go on.

if you watch any of the daily show and the colbert report you'll see all the things fox news says that are soo anti obama/ liberal.. i mean papa bear just says " shutup " to anyone who dosn't agree with him

last night on the daily show campbell brown ( cnn ) said she wanted to be a balanced show to up her competition which was oreily ( far right) and another show which i forgot.

For starters, let me just say that beyond Fox News Channel, that, in general, media has liberal bias.

Now, with that being said, yes, Fox News is not "fair and balanced," despite what they claim. In general, they have clear Republican/Conservative bias. As for the reason? Just look at their commentators. Ratio of Conservative-to-Liberal is anything but "fair and balanced."

I agree MSNBC is definitely biased. And CNN leans a little left but nowhere near the bias found on FOX news. Difference between MSNBC and FOX's biases is that MSNBC don't claim to really claim to be fair like FOX does.

I don't really care...all media is biased. Hannity's America is an opinion show, so he can be biased on there. It would be nice if they had an equal show for a liberal though.Bloodbath_87

Yes, i understand that. But there's no liberal counterpart. Even the match up of the show Hannity and Colmes most of the time feels like an Harlem Globethrotters game.

Its clear how bias they are.. Take a look at their viewer audience.. When ever they did the text voting for the four debates, McCain and/or Palin won by a landslide of like 80% McCain, 11% Obama, 9% undecided.. This made me giggle.. Such a landslide happenign either way specially in the presidential debates is silly.

Not true. This is ABC, where they dont favor one side of a party. Heck, they even dedicated a hour show showing how each candidates popluar ideas are false.And you mention an individual. One that host "Worlds News Tonight" and is being told what to say via a teleprompter. Maybe your a bit bitter by his Sarah Palin interview as he grilled her. Im sure the same treatment would of went to McCain or Obama if he was to interview them. Truth is, as a News source which is what this topic is about, FoxNews is not fair or balanced. Im done.

You really are that naive? I guess they definitely are doing their dirty work well. I see the bias very clearly... and it annoys me. He asked her questions he did not ask any of the other candidates. How the hell is that fair or "not sticking to one party"? I just think Fox is the most balanced... which is really quite saddening. :|
